The long-established Searchspring platform offers AI-powered search with advanced autocomplete, rule-based visual merchandising with boost features, and behavior-based, personalized recommendations. Native integrations are available for Shopify, Magento, and BigCommerce, among others. The solution is primarily aimed at B2C/D2C retailers in the U.S. market. In 2025, Searchspring, Klevu, and Intelligent Reach merged—with support from the growth equity firm PSG—to form the new brand Athos Commerce, which combines search, merchandising, and feed management. This significantly expands the product portfolio to include Klevu’s AI search and Intelligent Reach’s feed management.

Searchspring remains available to existing customers without interruption, including new features, support, and maintenance, and will continue to operate as a brand or division within Athos Commerce. New customers can no longer sign up for Searchspring independently, as the website redirects directly to Athos Commerce. A separate new subscription to Searchspring is no longer offered. Current evaluations should therefore be based on the entire Athos Commerce suite.
